I made you something. :) It is a draft playable one-page solo journaling RPG about shopping for art supplies. You can check it out here: https://cfcollision.itch.io/a-trip-to-the-art-supply-store.
There may be some revisions / updates coming, and it's just barely possible that this is the beginning of a larger project. (Okay, okay, cards on the table: I was working on a bigger game, with a different subject, and got stuck on a couple things, including a list of prompts and how to ... win.)
This is probably mostly @metal.txt's fault, for initially making Sweaters by Hedgehog, which was one of the first of these I ever heard of. I also had a good early experience with Wanderer, before discovering the works of Anna Blackwell, which absolutely rule. All of them, in mechanics and style, have influenced this, as has the super good 5-min-e, mostly in tone.
I've also bought and tried Miru, and fooled around with the Alone type genre, including Alone Among the Stars, a prog album cover description generation engine (complimentary), and Alone on a Map. Check out Deus Sex Machina for a maximalist approach that's mindblowingly good.
